i don't check anymore, it isn't gonna make me love or hate the van any more whatever it does, last time i checked i was getting high teens but mine is 2 litre auto and i don't drive like a pussy.
That sounds about right. I find the figure it gives is quite poor if it's working it out on less than 100 miles. Try that and check next time.
17 sounds about right for stop start town miles. I get about 23mpg on a run. Useful to keep an eye on the consumption, reckon so.. Nice app road trip cheers s
with any engine conversion it's surely gonna take a long time to offset the cost of the engine and fitting plus the continuing option of fueling that said conversion to gain a max of 10mpg though.....changing for the sake of it is false economy, if money wasn't an option i would do it but i think unless terminal engine failiure happens i wouldn't be able to seriously think about it.
i wasn't saying it directly to you matey, if i could change mine i would go diesel for the reason of knowing loads about diesel and finding them totally reliable, so money no object and i would do the same, not for performance but for preference and mpg.
Well i put an petronix ignitor in mine and seem to be getting 24 to the gallon, which is justified for a heavy laden bus, filled the car up the other week £65 blimey it was n't long ago i could do this for 45 quid. thats the bloody tories for ya.
Im starting to worry if im going to get more than a year or two worth of using the bus If petrol prices keep rising i wont be able to afford to run the bus If petrol is that expensive and lots of others cant afford to run them then the price of busses could drop right off Am i going to be left with a bus thats worth a fraction of what a paid and the resto cost That no one wants to buy as petrol is too expensive
really, if anyone has concerns over fuel consumption and petrol prices (assuming the vehicle is properly tuned) their surely driving the wrong kind of car?. There are small Kia's and Fiats our there that do 70mpg +
