Oh great TLB advise me/pick my reasoning.

Not quite - more like taking the engine out of a Ferrari and putting in something that Ferrari made 30 years later.

Alternatively you could spend the equivalent on the original Ferrari engine and still have less power and worse fuel - even though you plainly would have improved on the original Ferrari engine.
