  1. Yeah, you're too good at this :D. 'Tis an odd looking beast though and with an interesting back story.

Yes, there are some fascinating developments of cars that have been built in overseas subsiduaries, and after the mainstream models have ceased production.

  6. Did you see this one, @docjohn I originally posted on another thread, but since we now have a special thread, well, it deserves another outing. I think I cropped the original posted image, this makes it a bit easier.

Does look a bit like a squashed 911 at the front doesn’t it lol

Nope, you've got me there. It has a bit of a look of a hardtop version of the Goggombil Dart, but the wheels are too small. The wheels look like one of the bubble cars, but I can't think of one that did that sort of body. Maybe a last gasp prototype before going bust; I give up :(

I was beginning to think you was unbeatable! It’s a Datsun Baby. 200cc, automatic gearbox, with a top speed of 20mph, aimed at kids

    They didn’t make many..

I wouldn't have got that in a million years! It looked too well put together for a '50s European microcar. Good one

OK, the thinking goes like this. It has the look of a mid 70s Japanese concept vehicle: the styling, the EV4 script is very Japanese, the slightly fussy but small diameter steel wheels and the overall stance. The rather flamboyant nearside door mirror is a classic Japanese feature for city streets and gives it away as a right hand drive home market. So, it's a prototype Nissan electric pickup.

    Yep!

1970’s Nissan EV. It had a range of 100 miles.

Hasn’t EV technology come a long way in 40+ years…
