You'll be surprised to know who the designer was. I quite fancied on of these in period but I'm far too large and it isn't quick enough for me....
It's a Peter Stevens design: McLaren F1, Jaguar XJR-15. It's a Cypher, built on Reliant 850 running gear.
I'm thinking the fringes of western European car manufacturing. In the 1970s the Spanish were ploughing their own furrow, maybe a SEAT?
