And got it covered tonight. Upol gravitex at the recommendation of womball
Looking sweet shame to cover it but it's good stuff
Awesome thread Carl, just spent the best part of an hour going through it as somehow not really paid attention to it previously!
Keep it up
What did you use to spray the gravitex? Did you buy the expensive Upol gun or will a generic one fit the bottle threads?
Just use the normal one £8 one on ebay
Yeah just used a cheapo gun from ebay, think it was about a fiver. Then the upol stuff was £9. Not too bad
Cool. That'll save a few quid then.
A fiver done again
Got a bit more spraying done today.
And the bumpers painted
Theres a couple of runs around the rear vents and a few here and there, so i'll let the paint dry over night then see if i can get rid of them. Then it'll be 1 more coat on the top half then ready to paint the bottom.
Great stuff Carl, are you glad you're painting if yourself?
Yeah man, only problem is the weather isnt going to hold up long enough for me to do the bottom half i dont think. Needs to be 20 degrees i think to paint doesnt it?
About that, I had18 in my head.
Is the colour Pastel White?
Tis indeed mate.
Looking good carl
I wouldn't leave the bottom half in primer over winter though it will soak up moisture from the air

Dont worry mate, i have a plan lol
By the way... Does anyone know if the 1st coat of paint needs to be flatted back before the next coat?
Looks amazing!!! And the finish on your paint is top!! Well done, I bet you're well chuffed with it?
