  2. If it's to build up or fill scratches then filler primer if it's bare metal then etch primer then normal primmer but if it's to just lay a nice smooth coat then normal will be fine .rember you want a nice smooth full primer coat no patches of filler or bare metal before top coating hope this helps.

  3. Cheers mate, i think i will get normal primer and see what happens. The whole van is pretty much smooth, just a couple of small scratches that i will need to put a smear of filler on.

Will i need to flat normal primer too?

  4. Getting better at flatting, done the rear passenger side panel and rear corner today. Now ready to primer te entire bus again in a 2nd coat.

  17. I know mate! To be fair, i could have done it alot quicker, but i've faffed about a fair bit, re-done things a couple ot times and then other stuff gets in the way which restricts time.

Im hoping i dont drag it on too long haha!

  18. A
Are you flatting it back by hand?

  19. I am. I didnt know you could get 600 grit for a sander anyway

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

You must flat by hand or it won't end up flat. Didn't I show you my DA flatted panels?
I usually use a stick approx 1/2" x 1" x sandpaper width. Roll 1/2 a sheet round it so you can find new bits.
