I've been getting reports that schuy has serious head injures, whilst skiing in France.

Just an FYI for all the F1 fans on here

There's a brief story on sky news.

just seen the same, twitter reports from F1 sources sound bad.

  9. ITN Newscaster seemed very shaken by the news and reported that although initial reports suggested his injuries were not too bad it has since been reported that his condition has worsened. His family is with him.

apparently he's now in a coma from what Sky News have just announced

I thought it was an induced coma.

The hospital released a statement saying the 44-year-old German "was suffering a serious brain trauma with coma on his arrival, which required an immediate neurosurgical operation".

It'll be an induced coma, seems to be the norm these days after a head injury.

There's been no mention of it being a medically enhanced coma which is unusual if it is one.
    Hopefully he'll pull through.

Bbc reckoned he walked to the helicopter. They think he had a swelling which is why the immediate surgery. Feel for him and his family :(

Press release said docs are taking it hour by hour, without the helmet he would have died.

I'll be surprised if he walked to helicopter.

Surgeons "observed an impact on the right hand side of his head." "We can't say how it will turn out. It really is too early to say"

  20. Well he's a fit lad and strong mentally, I've seen people in worse shape than him pull through some horrific injuries. He's getting the best care available, if anyone can make it he can
