We've got a bit more done over the last couple of weekends, slow going but little by little we are moving foward Rear arch repaired as inner tub is mint Next the belly pans came off, always a worry till you can see what youve really got Could of been far worse, the sills we knew about but found a couple of other small bits The sill has gone from rotten to gone ??? Just the sliding door track left for now. Have worked out how to do the inner center section now I hope! The front arch, b post and out rigger have all gone > and now I guess its time to start getting some new metal back in before we cut any more out!
are you using your bus as a template to make a new one from new parts ;D ;D great progress .........now get some panels on!! ;D ;D
Thanks, still doesn't feel like it! Lol, maybe it will all be more noticeable when the front panel is done OMG! Guess it just feels that way as the most time consuming bit has been the bit you can't see - the lovely inner sill! :
Got the outer sill finished apart from a polish with a grinding disc > The front arch is now sat in place, it needs to go forward and up a few mm but thought i would share as it seems like a big mile stone to have touched the 2nd corner with a new panel ;D ;D Think Mrs Burntout got her money's worth out of the wire brush? She does. : Do you normally do the small panel at the end of the deformation pannel before or after the front arch?
Do you normally do the small panel at the end of the deformation pannel before or after the front arch? We infilled after ,but ours was a mess from front beam to defo , we had to make it fit .
