Glad someone agrees with me He didn't want me to! I have given half of it a wash and even t cutted a little patch :-[ Just to see of course! :-X Will do the other half tomorrow hopefully!!! It already looks much better for it! Needed some TLC - How you enjoying yours? Been in debate whether to do Stig as a rolling resto or complete resto. At the minute going down complete resto route, however I have no daily vehicle now so that may have to change.
Lol im running my engine in that was rebuilt 6 years ago I think i managed about 60 miles in it after the engine rebuild before she came off the road to sort a few jobs
Just a few????? Will load some pics up in a min of the few we've started - Have a couple just for you
So here a few pics - long time coming it seems and not looking like we have achieved much but am sure it will soon, always looks worst before it looks better so they say: The cutting out begins: The deformation panel bare metalled and sprayed over in black to protect it (is all that was to hand in shed) Not bad for its original, found one little tiny hole. Stigs birthday arrived a little early this year, but it seemed rude not to give him a special present seeing as its his 40th! New metal going back in: And the next bit mocked up to see In the kids words "Stig is looking more like a bus again now, rather than a dump". How little do they know that it will look a lot worse yet! Think they just want a break from walking everywhere and were getting hopeful! > Parents we are! And just for Para A Before: And After shot: Didn't attempt to do the front panel tho, would be pointless when it desperately needs replacing and the less water that gets inside the better! :-[
Got a little bit more done, now he is in the shed and Noah is outside under cover Just need to finish welding these bits in and then on with the next bit! LOL
