Ow @scrooge95 what a bobbins day! Was it one of those that you reassuringly stubbed your toes getting into bed just to reaffirm what a poo day it was?!!

As you probably know tetanus can be transported through soil, have you had your jab? Go and get that hand sorted or you could get blood poisoning or the like.

Tomorrow morning I expect you to go to the Drs or local drop in place for treatment. Afterwards you can visit your folks so they make you tea and fuss over you! :)

Hope it gets better soon - and your head! :) x

Thats a fair stint in hospital & they dont keep you in for nothing, what did it turn out to be?

  6. Thankfully there didn’t turn out to be an extra helping of toe stubbing, although it was one of those kind of days. I am constantly amazed that I (or any member of the human race for that matter) actually has little toes anymore.... the mere fact that I haven’t managed to snap both of mine off over the years is close to a minor miracle. They must be the most resilient bone in our bodies, and if we could harness their power we could probably actually save the world!!

  7. Also - if your thumb does drop off, make sure the dog’s not around. You know what he’ll do...

  8. Cor blimey Mr ‘Oft, you take care of yourself, that sounds proper bloody awful.... although hospital food has improved drastically over the years so it’s not all bad being waited on, hand foot and finger for a week.....
Have you just properly mangled your back, slipped a number of discs, that kind of thing? Sounds rubbish. Stay resting, and enjoy the drugs! x

  10. I have been ‘practising’ in case amputation is necessary and I have to make do with only one opposable digit in my life, but good point about Dylan! Bloody dog would be away with it before it’d hit the floor :D

  18. It does indeed. I nicked my ankle shaving my legs once... I swear if CSI had been called in they would’ve thought it was the scene of a mass murder!

Get a cleaner, you know it makes sense! ;)

  19. This site is getting to sound like Emergency Ward 10 (other hospital type television programmes are /were available )....is there an award for the best (worst ) injuries? I hope you have all had first aid training, just in case.
