Vaguely, yes. I mean, Hayley is a Comet, but on the whole. I had Uri until last year, but sadly he too went off to the great fish pond in the sky....

Yes I do indeed have size 12 feet. Not sure about expert but I know I need big shoes, I don't fall over in strong winds and I'm a good swimmer.

  7. Did you not make your own accelerator foot thing?

    Guilty. Sorry, was being flippant.
I just cut mine out of some chequer plate, made a couple of countersunk holes and drilled two holes in the original pedal (that I'd welded back to life) to fix it.
Sarah, the reason yours has holes roughly the same width of your pedal is the Bigfeet pedal uses a clamp. So you have two long bolts that go through a drilled plate that you put behind the pedal. So you could do that or drill two holes like mine.

Hmmmmm, the space between the mounts that the screws go into isn't wide enough for them to sit either side of the original pedal and get clamped round the back - maybe it's not designed for a Bay pedal? I'm sure I've seen others on here with them, but maybe it clamps over a non-standard pedal. Ah well, it'll go on ebay if it doesn't fit.

  11. Sellotape it on...

Waste of money! Use blu-tak so when you realize it doesn't work you can use it for something else!

Why not drill two holes longways on? Make sure all four holes are countersunk. Get four countersunk bolts/screws and use two for fixing, chop the heads off the other two and glue them in the lateral holes. It'll look like you've got four screws in a diamond pattern holding the bigfoot on.

Width of standard pedal is 6cm. Seems like a design fault or it’s not meant for a Bay?
Just wondered if anyone had one as I’m sure I’ve seen one or two at techenders? I could saw off one of the screw thread lumps, but surely I shouldn’t have to do that?

That would make sense. Dammit. It was in the ‘Bay’ section of VWH but I didn’t think even I could be getting the fitting that wrong!
