Back door was wooden and rotten, when we moved in it wouldn't open, i planed it down as it had swelled up and the bottom was hanging off, bodged it together with some kick plates to get me by, I have got matey with some of the lads at the double glazing place over the road at work and they were on the lookout for a upvc one for me in the right size, good things come to those that wait. Cost no pounds and no pence, happy days, fitted today, before and after.
I did the skirting in the bedroom bigger than the door trim, reason? 'Cos that's what came in at work..... I'm basing a lot of the fitments on what comes back from tk maxx or Starbucks

My first house was like that, I hacked the path away from the house, dug it out well below the damp course and back-filled with pebbles. I'm on a roll!
Played Bass in a band from 1992-2006 gigging all over the Midlands, got so fed up by the end i put the bass in its case in the wardrobe and I've never played since.
Yeah I've done that at part of it, someone has decided to seal the wall (outside) to the path with loads of silicone.....
Not updated this for a bit, both bedrooms and front room 99% done now, (painted/carpeted) started laying kitchen floor today, gotta do in 2 stages though 'cos gotta get in and out, wood effect porcelain tiles usually seen in Starbucks but free from work. Do the rest Tuesday night I think.
