    Oooh interesting question....
    I've never thought nuclear sandals were necessary, and that there are other better forms of footwear, should we need that kind of thing. Just because others may want to have nuclear sandals, I don't wish to as I don't think me wearing them will be of any benefit or protection if another wearer decides to take theirs off and throw them at me. In fact it would be best if we just all gave our nuclear sandals to the nearest charity shop, and all went back to old fashioned flip flops. I hope that clears that one up @snotty
