20k euro fine for mercedes for fitting valteri's tyres to george's car. apparently pit wall -> georges crew message to say he was coming in did't reach them as george was also transmitting a radio message at the same time. hence pit crew were expecting valteri, not george.
Yes I liked Button too I've got a JB flag somewhere I'll have to dig it out. Sent from my SM-G981B using Tapatalk
Comedy pit stop was awesome! Bring back refuelling... Romain will love that! I hope Lewis has recovered from his sidesplitting laughter induced muscle injuries for the next one! comedy gold!... and yes... best race since last week!
01:15 Valteri "what the f*ck whas that?" 03:51 after george gets his new mediums Bono: ..should be a big tyre advantage Russell: I b**dy hope so..!
I think most of the chat happened under VSC or SC, they do tend to limit the chat to the straights - arguably, Shakhir was 4 straights and four corner = 48seconds of banter per lap
So... should red bull kick out Albon and get Perez back in F1 for 2021? You have to say, Perez is a safe points-scoring pair of hands and an ideal team mate to talented-but-inconsistent Max? or.. should Haas kick out that russian idiot and get Perez into their car?
Red Bull don't seem to be grabbing the bull by the horns, so to speak, with Perez. Listening to some of the podcasts is might be that it is contrary to their young driver programme and ethos of developing from within... even if the drivers in the last couple of years have fallen short. Max has been better of late and seemed to have got his anger management un check until recently! Not sure what the idiot has done in that video, but I suspect it'd be easy to bin him off if they wanted! Haas is under the Ferrari banner and I suspect they don't want the bad press either.
unfortunately the marzipan guy's dad has lots of money so if they ditch him they'd be waving goodbye to huge wads of roubles.
Adu Dhabi! What a thrilling climax to the season! Like 55 laps of watching paint dry. It really has got to be the dullest circuit It's been a really good season with some cracking races. Just a shame to end up like that. Great to see Max win though
It’s that classic combination of Tilka tracks and oil rich states buying races that epitomised the end of the Ecclestone era and perpetuated the borefest that F1 can be. The big take away from the 2020 version of F1 for me is that the variation thrown in by different tracks, different weekend smart ups, drivers in the wrong cars has undoubtedly put some extra polish on the show. While sticking drivers into other cars is unlikely to happen next year, I do hope they can keep some of the other randomness!
