Its fair to say that not all people who have declined to be vaccinated are 'anti-vaxers' in the context of actively lobbying/demonstrating/demonising people who do vaccinate. I've got several friends back home who have chosen not to, or have chosen not to have boosters or their children vaccinated. They aren't reckless in any way, just not comfortable with the rushed development and the lack of demonstrable data for short and long term side effects and mortality.
Not after 5pm I won’t scooter boy nipper You carry on , I’m glad that you are sorting out this mess Good luck
Lambeth has the highest rate of infections in country ..... there's talk of banning the " Lambeth Walk" from Dec 27th.
Well our Christmas is kind of different now as the Mem Sahib is positive for the lurg. Me and mini are both neg and doing daily LFTs. But no family over on 25th. We’re ok with that tbh. We’re having pizza, eating our body weight in Pringles and Quality Street and watching whatever is worth watching on the tellybox, be that iPlayer, Prime or Netflix. May even sing a few festive songs round the old Joanna . Our Christmas Day is sorted
We are now down to 3 as another member of Sarah’s family has tested positive. I’m still on negative LFT’s tho apparently I’m odds on to be next positive due to being the only one still working and also going into plumbers merchants with other valiant workers
Isolation period is now 7 not 10 days if you test negative on day 6 and 7 after your positive result.
And it looks like Boris will put in some restrictions after Christmas Day to scupper New Years celebrations. Seated outdoor cheese and wine parties will be OK. Just been reading the details of the assistance the government has offered to hospitality businesses, the headline is £6k but the detail says for smaller pubs £2.7k. knowing how these businesses usually rely on a good Christmas and New Year trade to build up resources to see them through the dark (quiet trading) months of January/February, there is a fear that many will be no more.
