Covid certs we're checked for entry ,but it could have been anyone's pass you were showing, the security was a joke at best and a shambles at worst. My other half is an optometrist working in hospitals, she's worked right through the whole pandemic ,face to face with patients who think it's ok to remove the mask once they sit down.she has not picked up covid or given it to me .she's has had 10 to 15 patients a day for the last 18 months and not had any signs of covid , I'm working in people's houses all day ,and I'm yet to meet one wearing a mask so I figured meeting other people on a night out would be ok .
Managed to get into town last night with MrsNtfc to celebrate mine. It wasn't at all busy.... There's 11 of us supposed to be in hospitality at the Cobblers on Boxing Day but I can't see that going ahead, though no official word as yet.
Last year (in order), son turned 18, daughter turned 21, I turned 50. All before end of May. Not a single party was had
Supposed to be down to watch Newport beat Forest Green the same day, can't see that happening either.
Celebrating 18 had just become " a thing " when I reached that age and my parents warned me that I wasn't to expect a 21st celebration, if I celebrated at 18. Hopefully your youngest can celebrate his 21st.... Covid permitting...
On the bright side you're all well and probably saved a small fortune... Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Every cloud has a silver lining... Your boxing day will be a lot less stressful... Tbh a lot of teams are going to be hit with the virus..
You could be a Barnsley fan watching one of the worst seasons straight after not being able to go to the 4th best season in the club's history
