Re smoking in pubs, Its a proper pain here with hordes of herberts spilling over the pavement and being a bleedin' nuisance whereas on the continent it seems that the bar can choose to allow smoking or not. Working in Germany I only had to go to the back of the bar for a puff, in Antwerp I could smoke at the bar.

In all honesty, smoking is sh*t....it will probably kill me...I've stopped for several years at a time, without much problem....staying stopped is much more difficult.

 

The quality of golden virginia seems to be a lot poorer nowadays with lots of the thick woody bits in it
Still it has less woody bits than drum

Its a pain for us who use blue or silver papers though as the thick woody bits have to be picked out otherwise it punctures the papers
I once took all the woody bits out of a 50 gram pack and had 8 grams of woody bits

Is growing your own baccy and just using the leaf material slightly more healthy than buying commercial rolling baccy?

There was a lot of erb a fair few years ago that had been dusted with glass granules or silica gel granules to bump up the weight
God knows what effect that would have had on your health when smoked

 

Pharmacies have been advised to stop selling e-cigarettes. In fact, we have always been discouraged from selling them, primarily because there is no regulation of them. This means that the quoted nicotine content, plus other content has never been properly tested and controlled. In some small batch tests carried out by the MRHA nicotine levels were shown to vary substantially from those quoted. They will be licensed from 2016, when they will be classified as medicines.

In the meantime they will continue to be sold, but you have to come to the back door

They are going to be regulated. There was talk about banning them in the meantime but they backed down from that. Would have been bad publicity to ban something that may help people stop smoking

Theres an owd fella near me that grows his own but when i had a smoke it was proper harsh
I dont know if thats to do with the drying process of the strain hes grown

I'm using a joyetec ego c, it works for sure and it has to be better for me than flags. I've seen loads of mates try electric cigs and hate them, I think you have to get a decent one and decent juice. I also feel a lot better. The strength of nicotine is available in different strengths. I'm on low now so next it's zero and then it's ween off the habbit of it.

 

Ok, so I've tried the menthol fag tasting fag sized jobby, proper grim it was & you couldn't refill it with your own juice so I tried a fag sized one from jacvapour and some different flavours and that was pretty good & I did a few weeks on it!

Then I went out, bought real fags and have struggled to ditch em again, just didn't feel I was getting the vape that the guy at work was getting so decided to go for the upgrade & bought the eGo C Twist battery, a couple of CE4 style cartys & some new juice.

Wow what a difference it has made to the flavour & the amount of vape you get from it, proper loving it & have a couple of favourite juices which are revved up from vapertrain & blue ice from alba vapours!

I bought some blackberry juice which is ok but thought it was missing something so I mixed in a bit of menthol & that is also a favourite! I have three tanks on the go and switch them through the day!

I have had the odd real fag, not sure why as every time I have I've not enjoyed it in the slightest, fingers crossed I will be completely fag free in no time...

Guy at work who is a serious vaper told me about a site called the alchemists cupboard, took a look & couldn't resist ordering some juice, lemon meringue, American Apple pie & blackcurrant liquorice! Can't wait to try em

Has anyone tried any other non tobacco juices? What did you think of them?

 

Red

Red cow and blueberry are my favorite. Vape escape is a good site too. I end up getting the totally wicked juice more as they have it in the shop down the road. Plus if you order it and are not it it's a trip to the sorting office to pick it up.
