download festival!!

I've missed out on Download Campervan ticket (They sold out two months early this year!)
If anyone knows of one going, could you point it in my direction, as I'm going to be a very grumpy sod for the foreseeable future.

With 3 weeks to go its sadly looking like i will not be going in Rusty to Download now

Things have got complicated with me and the ex and some friends that have got involved who are having their own crisis. One half of that couple was helping me with Rusty but as a result of recent difficulties this is not possible.

Rusty is stranded on the driveway and isnt road worthy at the time of writting this. Due to the whole situation i havent been able to get any work done on her since last October Bad owner i know but life gets in the way.

At present the breaks are seized up and i she has a flat battery. Other than that she was running fine last year although had some issues with the 3rd gear and the carb is well out of sync but she was drivable and i did around a 400 mile trek in her with that problem.

This is kinda an SOS call to anyone that may be able to help this novice camper owner who really hasnt got a clue as to what to do. Is there anyone in the Norfolk area that wouldnt mind spending some time with me in getting Rusty road worthy for Download.

Failing that i will have a campervan ticket to the event for sale.

Really not keane on roughing it in a tent but will do if push comes to shove.

Sorry to hear about Rusty.

I've had my own shenanigans as well, but a weekend of swearing, hitting, praying and swearing again has got my van back into shape!

I only got down for Saturday, top day though! Trivium played a top set (may have to spend some money) and always steel panther were spot on, loved the Corey Taylor appearance. I must admit I wasn't impressed with the sound quality at the beginning of the day. And always metallica were good, although they made more mistakes than I've ever seen them make. Gutted I didn't get to see ugly kid Joe :'( did anyone else?
