Im not the biggest Sabbath fan so if there is someone else on ill go catch them. I was only going for The Prodigy but man i am so buzzed about how the line up is taking form. Ugly Kid Joe, Anthrax, Soungarden im going to be reliving my youth
ha ha, me too. i used to bounce around to public enemy and anthrax's version of bring tha noise! as for ukj i am soooooooooooo excited!!!
Aout 2 years ago we did like 3 years in a row. Then started going to Reading. Could be into Download again this year. PS I have now done Reading and Sonisphere in the Van and could never ever go back to a tent. EVER
come to download buddy! been for the last 5 years, and monsters of rock before that, unfortunately campervan tickets have all sold out!
I totally disagree - their live act is a full band with drums (and man what a kit) guitars and a noise that will blow you away .... They are (and dazzle will hate me for this) better live that The Prodigy! seriously! I see a lot of bands and they are the one that has stuck out the most over the last few years. I am all for mixing it up at festivals and download although trying to hold on to the 'rock' has to expand and take in other acts. Please see them and if you dont enjoy it (in the setting) I will give you £1.27
i doubt it. i'm just hoping for a decent act on the second stage at the same time. i totally see where marowak is coming from, but if live nation get away with this then what next year!!! this is supposed to be the 10th anniversary of a great ROCK festival. thats not dub step!!!
I feel a -1 karma point coming your way Marowak C&S are spot on live and will be a good warm up act for The Prodigy and it will get the crowd going. Very similar beats to Pendulum who have made the cross over at Download. The Prodigy get away with it because they crossed over in to the pages of Kerrang when FOTL dropped and i think this is their 3rd appearance at the festival and people are buzzing for them. Although i make comparisons to Pendulum C&S have more of a dubstep vibe about them so i think thats the sticking point for a lot of people and the slot they have been given could have gone to Machine Head and C&S could have been dropped off the main stage to the 2nd or 3rd or slightly lower down on the bill. Its a metal / rock festival so people want that sort of band playing that high up on the bill instead of hearing dubstep beats. I'll enjoy it all the same so hey ho Chase & Status feat. Takura "No Problem"
C&S smashed it at WDF but although they are good The Prodigy ripped them apart and blew MK Bowl apart when they came on so im up for it and i hope C&S show the same kind of form at Download but something tells me the crowd are going to make it tough for them.
