Perhaps an update is in place !

Now I´ve parked my pickup in the barn for the winter. I might take it out for a spin on a sunny day later in the winter but for now it will be parked away for snow and bad weather. I,ve deceided to go in for some more Army theme next summer so the search is on for Army props and related things. Anyone got a picture on an British Army Bay you can post them here ?!



And bay the way ,I stumbled across another bus I gotta have... It have been parked and forgotten the last 20 years or so but not in so bad condition. It´s a ´73 Kombi with a 1700 type 4 in it and a lot of moss and mucus on it ..

I´ve washed the worst dirt of it now and cleaned out all the crap inside it and will probably take it in the garage later this winter to do a Partybus for the 2012 summer !

It,s been a while guys ! And thanx for the inspiration picture Paradox !

My Bay is still in the barn hiding for the snow and for the lats months I´ve been working on my Split bus, but I haven´t forgot the truck !

In my last post ( ..months ago... : ) I said that it will be an fake army pickup but it will be an" Flygvapnet" truck , wich means" Airforce.." mostly for have something new for the summer, and I did my military service in the Airforce as an truck- and a snowplowdriver and of course the colour of the car. Now I´ve got some " Flygvapnet"decals printed, bought those "stealth vision lamps" ( I dont know the english word..) and got some other props aswell. I will also change the alu.rims and be driving on armygreen steelrims ( Passat 15" ) next year which now are beeing sandblasted and painted by my brother. I´ll post pictures tomorrow of the props if someone is interested..

But to get this thread a little bit more alive I post a picture of the splitbus I´m working on ! Some more work have been done on this aswell since the pic is taken but I guess you guys dont care, it´s just a splittie and the way of life is spelld Bay , right !?

OK , here´s the things that will be mounted to my pickup . The wooden box is a toolbox for some kind of grinder for grinding on a ship that my brother found at his workplace, the helmet and cap is from the Swedish Airforce that comes from a surplus shop . The two small lamps are for dark and not-too-be-seen driving to be mounted at the the rear and the bigger one, which I still need one, is for the front end. Also I got the rims today and two bits of reflective tape. There are in the swedish army bays that I´ve seen two white in front and two red in the rear reflexes mounted.

Also in the picture there is the flygvapnet logo stickers that shall be taped to the doors and a juicemixer that of course will be painted green and mounted to the roof !

Thanx a lot Rennison ! But you cant have wood on the bed the whole time, it´s not a arty installation you know, I use it for the right purpose, to fill it with old junk, vw parts, childrens bicycles, building material and beer cases..
