so i find myself sat here with my son, father in law and brother in law watching liverpool v swansea. to be honest i would rather watch anything else. In my view of 'genetics', you're either a petrol head or you like sport. rarely do they mix. discuss.....!
Never have like it watching or playing. I find when I've observed those that do they all have this amazing gift of being able to inform the players or referee were they've gone wrong. Its a special gift.
Been to a couple of matches and didn't like what it turned people into. Saw England play on big screen at local cinema and spent most of the time trying to calm my mate down as kept swearing at the screen when there loads of kids there too. He said it was 'all part of football'. No, I don't.
Yep love my football, just as much as my dubs Used to play Saturdays and Sundays but gave up a few years ago when it started to take more than a few days to recover from the aches and pains of playing Looking at getting another season ticket for the Wolves next season with the boy, had one for about 12 years before the kids came along and my time was better spend at home by order of the wife
I love sport. Went to the Newcastle vEverton game with my son yesterday. He follows them not me, and I only knew a few of the fellas playing, but I enjoyed it all the same. I'd much rather watch rugby. I don't hate football but I despise the play acting and rolling over and over in "agony" if you ankle is so much as tapped lightly. But I love sport in general. @Sir Arthur , if you're about, you like your footy a lot, come and give us the fans side. I can't abide golf btw
To me football is akin to a religion I don't get ? I used to like playing it but preferred rugby, but when I left school and didn't have to do it, I didn't. Then I saw the fairy aspect and wages going up as I got older, and still didn't get it ? my kids got some tickets for a match for nothing, and asked me to take them... I went dutifully and players appeared to be clones of kids I remember at school, who had the right trainers and were good at football. I have not been since as I still don't get it....I get watching two top fuellers breaking the laws of physics to do a quarter mile as fast as they can, I get sailing across the oceans to prove who is a better crew, I get running and cycling and motorcycling and a myriad of other sporty things...but I don't get football ?
