  4. In 20 years of bus ownership I have never used the spare ...... Ditch it altogether and carry a can of emergency tyre stuff

Me neither and that goes for all the cars I've ever owned too. Until late last year when one went pop in the middle of nowhere. So lucky it was also within 1/4 mile of a farm and so lucky again that I knew the farmer and he'd just tooled up with tyre changing gear and so lucky again that he was in and itching to try his machine out after spending the afternoon setting it up.

  7. Some girls have all the luck :D

  8. Which side of London? We are over in the west, and wolfsburg weedhuggers are a nice friendly bunch! as are the Lo'e'nuf

As for the wheel, i have taken mine of the front this winter, and it takes some getting used to, but i think i now like it more! just havent got round to sorting the gas system back to standard, so have nowhere to put the wheel at the moment!

  9. I was thinking that, as i too have never used the spare, my jack still looks brand new too!

  10. Yeah I am West too! I will check the clubs out mate thanks!

  11. I've done this with several cars and got away with it, but last week I got a big hole in one of the previa tyres that would not have been fixable with tyre foam, so would have been stuck for a while without the spare.

  12. I like the clean lines without the wheel on the front … but if I had one there already then I think I would leave it … if you remove the bracket won't there be holes in the front of your bus … I couldn't be bothered to fill them up … sometimes I wish ours was on the front and then there would be a bit more room inside … What about on the back like @paradox is doing ?

  13. All new cars don't come with a spare .....well most

  14. Ditch it mate, they look better with a clean front.

  15. I don't have a spare... :S

  16. I know nothing... So I'll ask...What are the measurements of the wheel stud pattern on a late bay.. PCD ?

    5X 112?

  17. A spare o the front Is a great way to massively dent the front end in a tiny shunt.

    Trust.me, I've done it.

If the wheel hadn't been there the bumpers would have met and at worst there would have been some scratching.

I'd never choose to fit one there.

  18. I've been debating with myself what to do with my spare as my new interior blocks the wheel well in the back I've used before.

I think a roof rack might be the answer for long trips for me

  19. I normally keep mine on the rear deck( I don't have a spare wheel well) and chuck it on the roof rack if I go camping and stuff.

  20. I only ask this as I have a plan for storing my spare wheel.
