No change for me....still tax free with a 72

Headline had me worried though....I had visions of them scrapping free tax to help pay off the national debt

 

Great news ! free road tax and a ten pound saving every time i drink a thousand pints, result.

 

5 years to wait for me too :-(

 

Wa hey! we're in - it was a bit gutting that we were so close to exemption before. Just a year to wait now.......

 

GET IN some good news eventually for me today, Best get it back on the road now then. Well I still have a year.
As well as my local now stocking Thatchers Gold cider at £2.40 a pint!

Built 18th Jan '73, registered June '73.

My tax is due up on 1st April, so I'll just have to buy one more disc at the end of this month, and then it's no more road tax, ever.

My 3/1/73 built was an N. It's new owners will be happy. Missing by 3 days was bit hard.

Mine is a 74 but now I really want to find out its manufacture date. Its an Aussie bus so has no ident plate behind the drivers seat.
