I'm not covered, but I wonder if a 40 year rolling exemption may be on the cards?

My 76 was registered on July 22 1976 (my birthday ) but sat on the forecourt for 13 months so fingers crossed!!

I read it as built before 1st Jan '74.

 

The Torygraph said registered, but What Car said built...depends on which journo has done their research!

 

I'm led to believe build so I need to investigate, I have a year to do it though !!

 

Should be long enough even with a baby on the way. The old system was built, so would think that has been carried on.
