Seller of this has taken down their advert to get this area repaired ... What does it look like to folk? "Restored" in 2009 in Pill. MOT'd last on May 13 2017. (so not re done when the new rules came through in May 2018) .......... ULO88M
Ah lovely, rust and filler. Does that jacking point behind the front wheel look a bit weird to anyone else, or is it just me?
Yep , probably filled all the way along... @Dub and Dubber , gotta ask , why are you even bothered about this ??
Trying to do the switch from a double unit full of finished and unfinished VW stuff, to one vehicle that works for us (you've heard it all before ... LHD/RHD, tintop/poptop, scarily mint/useable daily, blah blah!) Sellers are about to get this repaired and I'm in the unique position of getting to see it up close both before and after. The MOT history makes me think I'll find some not-so-fine work underneath, that would fail an MOT but going to have a mosey anyway. Keep my hand in as it were
Anybody that has a pic up like this would find out that is enough to put buyers off if asking anywhere near market value / price . I also can’t believe they’ve taken a picture with the handbrake left on Ozziedog,,,,,,,,door gaps don’t look too bad if you allow for the piccy angle
That is indeed what I'm expecting having seen the MOT story ... Ramping up the effort to clear the decks here, so this is a kind of warm up act for looking at others once the readies are in place.
Yes ... though not shared now, so ideally I can get half the space back to either share again or use it for the sculpture projects that are waiting on the finish of the house building work
If that sill is the only problem 10+ years after a resto I'd be surprised, but if so it could be an ok bus?
