  2. what lol you no me bern , its been sitting for 4 weeks doing nothing , then in 1 weeks we are here , to morrow , all goes well inside doors wings etc will be in colour , oh merry xmas to you and your better half and family

  4. backs of the panels got rubbed with 500 paper then lashed with 4 coats of paint , pic heavey
    ive marked with a black marker where some dimples and marks need stoppered but looks good

    You could make Tiny wear one. By the looks of the guy with a crap dust mask in his hand, but not wearing it, it's considered weak or uncool to wear one. Not a good example for the boy?
    Only bloke I know who took liberties like that retired at 45 because he couldn't breath. Needs oxygen the whole time now. Hard as nails though. :thumbsup:

  11. to day a spent a very short time on filling and fixing the bumpers , that are not in good shape , but now look a bit better , and in primer

  12. today with some help (as am week as water with this flu bug )we moved the minor to the friends work shop . so i can keep on at it .
    quick look over and marked the ares to be filled , which is very little , 320 the body then fill ,

    black marked areas are the parts to be filled

    wheel area looks big but just needs a light skimm

  13. worked my why round panel by panel taping high spots in low out . fill sand refill , then had to weld in a new capitive nut for rear ds wing , final light skimm and ready to prime , first done the boot area tomorrow ill seam seal it before repriming
    took of the indicators and tryed them one is fine the other i use electrical contact cleaner to see how i get on

  16. might not be a vw or bus but all that i am doing applies to any classic ,
     
  17. still sick as a pig can t seem to shift it . but still got more done , first seal seal the boot , then the floors sill joints etc etc , then out with dash pockets and doors , steering wheel and shaft , noticed that the handbrake cables need attaching , flattened down inside , and anything else i found . jacked up in bay took of wheels , to find again in credit to former owner he had fitted new drums as well as everything else ,brillant for me . masked of tomorrow its getting primed and painted inside,
    put doors on to see how good we could hang them , then off again

    This looks great. I've never had one but might be looking for a saloon for my sister in law next year. I'm hoping to find a very nice one for under 5 grand.
