  1. Nice looking moggie.

There used to be a moggie traveller sat in the neighbours drive next to my grandparents for years. It'd only done less than 40k miles when i last saw it a few years back.
These two were sat next to our local garage before they were both chopped up and scrapped as he couldn't sell them. :(

Try Morris mania mill hill / GDK Garages.

Guy there called nick, cracking fella, knows his stuff. Probably 'no scene' tax either.

  3. Also, I was a bit tongue in cheek with my previous posts, I'd like to see it all original.

  4. Looks great - if I were to sell my MGA I would replace it with an OEW Moggy convertible with red interior - and hopefully 1275 Midget engine and front discs.

  5. Keep the MGA as its making money for you. Prices are going up like splitscreens.

Like you I would like an original genuine moggy convertible, saw one at a show this summer, OEW, convertible, red interior, red mohair hood. Lovely car.

I heard the marina kingpin was a popular conversion. The guy in Bath got me replacement kingpins from a store in Africa. They were all wrapped in cloth and covered in thick grease. New, but had been stored for a long time in the desert somewhere.

  7. finally made a bit of a start , of with ps wings and door , small mouse holes to be fixed some corrision along bottom frame , so i cut it out and made up a new section for it . folded out he bottom lip and cut out the rot fixing in reverse order . welded up the pin holes on the out side , , filled rubbed and stone chipped the bottom plate and seam sealed the edges ,
couple of dents pushed out on bonnet and skimmed

  15. Lovely car. My mum had one and I think my love of classic cars is all about the experience of growing up with that. Chunky switches, big Smiths speedo, not a piece of plastic in sight. Lovely exhaust note (the car not my mum).

  16. Without wanting to appear to be a pendant, Can I just point out that the word 'Moggy' is a term of endearment traditionally used to refer to a Morgan and that technically, this should be called a 'Morry Thou'.

finished filled the ds wings and door , then flattened it all with 320 ,. tomorrow it will all be in primer and inside s all in finish paint ,.
