to day quick flatten with grey scotch bright , then wash down the bay and blow the car down . then 2 coats pf 2k primer on the inside of the car , 4 coats on the outer panels , then 3 coats of colour over the grey primer on the insides and door shuts and boot , wet on wet , the camera battery run out so not pics just yet of colour yes he is wearing a mask

to day tiny and my self called down to spuds workshop , he needed his oven so pulled out the minor , so when it was out i mixed some FANTASTIC filler, very light , and skimmed the imperfections out , then rubbed with 240 then 320 , and spud then spot primed them for me,so now am ready for the final rub down , and finish paint . lightly skimmed TINY the boss man gives his blessing rubbed down spot primed

Same as beetles - with little resale value corners are cut and the hard bits bodged. I've upset a few shiny Beetle owners telling them the body needs to come off to repair some tiny area that was missed out when it had "total" restoration.
i have nothing in mind to do vw s have got so expensive to buy to restore parts have got very dear and crap, i went out to day took one look at it and thought feck that went back to the house , just wasnt in the form for it , ye get days like that :baggy:
spent a bit of time today da ing with 500 discs, then with a block and then with the palm of my hand , adjusting door hindges wing edges etc , not a lot to show but it all takes time
