    You know…in your Ears.
You ever get them blocked with a natural build up of wax?
Why dosnt the NHS irrigate them for free anymore?
Is that another one of the cuts?
Mine seem to be blocked and the only place I can find is Specsavers at 50 quid an ear.
    Is that expensive or what…

Why don't you try those oils you can put in your ears to loosen it up .

Plain old olive oil is usually fine. Don’t buy expensive stuff from pharmacy. Might take a day or two to clear it.

  6. Stick a peanut in each ear, then pour hot chocolate over them.

It'll all come out a Treat.........

  8. i had this a year ago - tried oil but it didn't seem to work. i had a new unused syringe i bought ages ago for a project that didn't get used, ended up using this to syringe my own ears, not hard to do, just be careful, don't do it too hard, warm not hot water. took a couple of attempts but it worked.

Had mine done at spec savers, well worth it imo, but you’ll need to presoften with olive oil for a few days prior.

  10. I think Boots hearing centre charge £60 for both ears.

Don’t even think of going down the ear candle route. And don’t poke about with Qtips.

My GP surgery does it for free, had a bad ear infection 2 weeks ago and now it has cleared I am booked in for a clear out.

Careful with your ears out there. A lady at the marina had ear ache, was given some anti-biotics which didn't work, went to A&E still in pain and a week later she had died from the infection which got into her brain. Fit, active 50-ish year old. :(

I am lucky, our local GP surgery is brilliant, sadly one of its younger doctors died recently and the surgery is closed for 2 hours today during the time of the funeral. It is quite a large practice but it is extremely well run. Shows it is possible.

  15. I am becoming more deaf at the moment - due I hope to a build up of wax - getting a GP appointment is difficult so I think I'll have to try Specsavers or similar place

  18. Olive oil's fairly useless if they're really bunged up. You need a good jetwashing/hoovering with the proper kit. Worth paying for IMHO.
