Belly pan conundrum

There would be no pan bothered to be fitted where there ain't a lot of salt rain and muck hurtling about under there in S.A.

 

I kept my original ducting. Great stuff. Cardboard, then foil, then plastic coating.

 

Don't know if the belly pan is classed as been an extra on the build sheet ...so up to the customer to add it ...some would be on and some not .

 

I haven't got belly pans but mine is from a dry sunny state.......

I bought mine from a member on here who took it off his late bay.

 

Do I get three guesses as to what that's painted with ?

 

It's the far end in paras pic that's different. The flange hanging down part of the chassis was different. An Early one would fit a late and you probably wouldn't even notice.

I'll take a pic of mine tomorrow. I bought it off someone on here ages ago but it needs a couple of the tabs rewelding. But if an early one fits a late bay then I'm happy.

 

Belly pans are an M-code.

 

Are the side pans worth fitting? One of mine is rotten, was fibreglassed into the seal by previous restorer!

 

Really interesting...do you know which code it is as my M code does not mention either way. Ta
