Lou and i used to own a bungalow by the sea , the weirdest plants thrived and some of the more robust just died , its the salt they can't tolerate isn't it ?.

go to the range and get a hammock ,its the weather for it .

  2. Yeh get a frame hammock one you can move around to suit the sun/shade 8) its instant then lol, palm trees look nice but take over when they get big,and are a nightmare to get out or remove if they do!! they do like wind though  Pends what sort of effect you want, all my mums brothers and cousins are Landscapers ,let it grow and mature ,it takes a while but better than instant jobs. Im not an expert , betty is very good with planting ,but we dont have a large garden now. It is fun watching plants and shrubs develope, some of my uncles stuff theyve done is amazing. I like malcs garden ,you need different heights and secret bits too. I worked with them for a few years when i was at school and college, did alot of large rockerys and ponds ,he just knew where to put stuff to make it look right, the stone had to flow with the strata lines and colours. You have a nice blank canvas tho dan.
