this looks worse than is but i put plenty of silkaflex on and right up sides to seal tunnel thru the roof cant see this when skylight is down , also proper dorm rubber skylight seal and bolts to skylight mech sealed in to avoid leaks ,sticks like poo good stuff ,they use on caravans .[IMG]
view of tunnel tube from underside ,ie inside van , i finished mine off to roof lining with trimmers edging in black .[IMG] Couldnt get roof up today as in carport and got tied up with other stuff. roofs quite dirty at mo too . If i can help with any other pics or stuff shout .

  6. Only cost you about a tenner to replace all the rivits, a couple of decent drill bits and two packs of rivits, rest is just time and effort:D

  7. Thanks guys,
Keith do you go to any of the wilts v dub club meets.

  8. Nah, doesnt help that the bus isnt on the road yet :)

  9. Here are some pics of the one that I did...

Roof light/vent, had been "sealed" using polyfilla and bathroom mastic
    [IMG]

Vinyl took some shifting... had to heat it up with the paint stripper gun, then scrape/peel it off
    [IMG]

Duct tape/sticky plastic as the rubber seal had completely gone
    [IMG]

Did some bare metal strips to use the bonding adhesive
    [IMG]

Roof cap ready for old top to go in to it!!

Some weight for 48hrs to allow the bond to cure
    [IMG]

I then added some polystyrene to give it some insulation
    [IMG]

Cut the hole for the Fiamma roof vent
