  1. A second night out at Rock City this week, this time to see The Temperance Movement. Another brilliant live band I must see again. 1000496-01.jpeg

  3. ^^^^These look bloody fab, just been looking at some more of their clips on YouTube. And they’re playing Brighouse in October . @Dexter, if you’re reading this old chum, where do you stand on the Small Faces?

Three gigs in one week for Ms.T and I.
    Friday night is Robert Plant.
Saturday night we're at the opera for LA Boheme,
Next Thursday night is Jackson Browne.

Gigs seem to be like buses, none for ages then 3 all together.

  12. Planty and Jackson Browne are for Mrs T aren’t they? La Boheme is to keep you happy. Go on Don, admit it :D

I actually like opera, it was one of the things drew Ms.T and I together.
All Ms.T knew a Planty was that he'd done an album with Allison Krause.
I had to do some serious education for Ms.T so she would realise how important Jackson Browne is.

Chris Holmes ex Wasp played across the road at The Diamond last night, I missed it, a mate went & said it was a great night!

We saw The Kommitments last week, they were great, superb singing :D

  17. I saw that the Kommitments were on but then instantly forgot to do anything about it. I will get to The Diamond when I remember.

  18. I was going to try and get to see them again this year ... it always make me laugh to see all the old duffers in the audience who once were punks drinking half a lager in their polyester slacks.

This Wednesday went and saw the Waterboys in Guildford ... I know its not the original line up but I had a great time, again an audience where the majority were in their sixties or at least that is how it seemed.
