Now all I've got to do is take it apart and send the heads and inlets to @paradox to work his magic!

  10. Not sure but I think it's something like it. It's all a bit of voodoo magic but I trust Para.

  11. No,,it's for a 1776 like yours. they made the engine make 205,4 bhp at the R R :D

  12. Oh cool, I'm up in Newquay, we should organise a tlb cornwall meet :)

  13. No where near as crazy a build like that holmsen dude
This is an engine thats running a standard cam and small carbs
Its a holiday cruiser engine so the power and torque needs to be kept low down through to the midrange

Port matching ,reshaping, removing restrictions and casting defects in the heads and inlet manifolds
But not opening up the ports too much so as to keep the intake velocity up and the torque at useable rpm in a heavy bus

Theres a lot of improvement to be made in the empi intake manifolds flow wise
Its not exactly a soft alloy though

    Before

    After

Just a final tickle needed and the intakes are done

  17. Thanks

I will be starting the headwork in a day or two so pics of that will follow
Ill be starting with cleaning up the casting flash on the head cooling fins though as its a bit rough from the manafacturer

  18. It's a bit of a shame I didn't have them on a running engine first so I could comment on the improvements just this has made but still really excited to see the end result.
