I'm afraid so buddy 2/4 exhaust valve this is y I was getting confused and thinking if done it wrong !! Actually did it right lol

As u prob all know I don't sit on a job so engine is now out and stripped awaiting post mortum in the light tomoz but due to the po bodge under the heads gonna pop have a chat with the wife and see what funds are left in the pot !!! Ill post some pics shortly just scrubbing the oil of my face !!!
Yep. So it was all set up correctly, just fubar because of 2+4. The oil is full of metal, pulled the dipstick and the metals is like a pulp, consistency of valve grinding paste, so I'm guessing the cam has 'galled'. Lumpy crusty bits in the rocker covers too. Still running though so I'm guessing fixable but the case is in a hell of a mess too. Previous owner has hacked the back off the case?? and it's also got a great crack in it!
indeed it has think im gonna start again new long block but would like to see the damage allso get famililer with the engine was nice and easy to strip just its read to split the case but will research a safe way to do this 1st !!here is the progress !! thanks again buddy nice to meet yet another smashing bloke !!
Jesus you don't hang about do you?!? Make sure you have every case bolt out and it will just pop open like a Terry's chocolate orange. Or a hoes snatch at the sight of a fiver. Remember, don't go shoving stuff in the case halves to prise it open as you'll feck it
