  1. I gave up and was asked what I used to help me stop. I had a think about it and finally worked it out to short term memory loss

Are you guys using the vapourising ones?
Try not to stay on them for too long as the chemical process where the liquid vaporises over the metallic cone is (allegedly) carcinogenic....

  5. Is there anything that isn't carcinogenic these days?

    Probably not.
Just think it's ironic that an item sold to aid smoking cessation is harmful!

I don't know how "true" it is hence the "allegedly". Just something I've been told this morning by someone involved in their manufacture.

  9. So how's everyone doing?

My update is that when I started on the e-cig I immediately dropped from 20 to 10 real cigs a day, then none over weekend but still had to buy 10 from the shop on my way to work! Couldn't help myself it's been my routine for the last two years & felt that I couldn't get through a day at work without a real cig!

Then my local Sainsburys closed so this forced a change in my routine & on Monday I stopped at a local garage for fuel & 10 cigs but they only sold my brand in 20's but I refused to buy em as I would smoke em and thus be going backwards!

So I payed for the fuel and walked out, not bought any since & not craved em either, well chuffed!

Latest flavours from alchemists cupboard which are worth a punt are as follows:-

    Lemon & Lime
    Totally Tropical
    Rosey Apple
    Aunty Flo's Pear Drops
    Bootifully Berry

I'm also looking at getting a 2200mah battery, looking at the e power 2 variable voltage jobby that's due in the new year, they currently do a non variable voltage 1800mah but I do find a little tweek in the voltage up or down can make a real difference to the vape & flavour...

  10. Why the flashing blue light when inhaled , be a bummer being pulled over by someone desperate for a nicotine hit

The flashing blue light isn't too bad but the siren is doing my head in.

  12. Thats some heavy vaping if your setting the sirens off, it took three of us vaping directly at the smoke detector for five minutes before we managed to set ours off :D:D

  15. Really? I've been vaping in airplane toilets for years in the belief that vapour will not set off the smoke detector. I suppose you have to blow it directly into the detector to set it off and the toilets on planes have quite powerful extraction systems to get rid of bad smells.

  16. So hows everyone getting on?
Ive only had two rollies the entire time since i started vaping both times was after drinking wine

Ive also found that you can give the clearomisers a good rinse out under the hot water tap untill the wicks appear clean then re use them instead of throwing them away and buying new

  17. If boiling water doesn't clean them well enough you can dry burn them. With the tank empty and the mouth piece off activate until you see the element glowing red. Blow gently towards the hole at the same time. Do this few times pulsing the button so as not to burn out the coil. This will burn off residues, then rinse with boiling water.

Its a 2200 mah variable voltage battery with ego & 510 style connector, its just a glorified ego C Twist in an iphone looking style box but the battery should last for ever at 2200 mah :D

  19. How much was that dude?

Ive just started using an evod clearomiser a few days ago and its amazing how much better of vape it is right down to the bottom of the tank
Im thinking once i can afford it to buy a variable voltage battery like a twist so i can dial it in a bit more to pull some more flavour out of the vape

I must admit ive not been totally smoke free as ive had one roll up and two real cigs since i started vaping
I seem to yearn for a real smoke when im drinking and in the company of smokers

  20. I've imported a few direct from manufacturers in china mainly cos you can only get the non variable 1800 mah versions in the UK it was a minimum order job so my plan was to stick the rest on eGay :D

Must admit I've been on and off the fags for the last week but that's due to other carp going on & me not coping too well with it so all my good work goes out the window, some of it is drink induced also!

I can recommend the ego c twist as the next step up from the standard battery as some of the juices require that bit more oomph so to speak!
