yep, Queens Elm in Chelsea but not too far from South Ken. My mum was a painter and I pretty much spent my youth outside the Queens Elm or Finches (down the road) with a packet of crisps and bottle of coke. Laurie Lee a regular as you said and one of the cartoonists (I think it was Jak)

my hometown is famous for agatha christie, fawlty towers and having palm trees... oh and for being 'the english riviera' (HA!) although they're not 'real' palm trees, as they would not survive the winter temperatures of this country.. so who knows what they actually are!
Hornsea pottery and it was my Grandpa and his brother who started it ...so im kindov a big deal haha, but seriously geat retro pottery for 70s lovers!
