Felt the clutch getting sticky so jacked up Tilly, axle stands both side and stripped the clutch cable, frayed and strands broken, replaced inner and outer, now good as new, also replaced steering coupling. going to carry out full service and good all round checks before our planned road trip to see the Rhine in Flames at Oberwesel 12 September, www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pl8IbXfjo7k

 

Started to remove and clean up the old sound insulation in prep for the new interior refit. Half way there!!!!

Busy today fitting new/ old fog light, sprayed up spare wheel rim and fitted speakers to my new kick panels

Haha! Wouldn't know, haven't been very far in it yet!!

 

I cleaned my crusty westy louvres with fine wire wool and metal polish, then just polish on a rag and 10 years later without any care they were still looking great.

 

Tested the new grill. No cheese as yet @paradox .

 

I like to stab holes in the bread after toasting it to give the cheese somthing to sink into
There must be somthing in the family blood as my eldest seems to live on cheese toasties atm
Normally made at 4am for some reason

And in other news, I tidied the garage and put the van away ahead of the severe weather warning.

Hand made adapters to fit a standard 2lt exhaust to my triangular flanges that are on my fuel injection heat exchangers, Now looks and sounds standard. Happy days!

I'd love to but don't know how! I'm on an iPhone. They're slightly rough at the moment as it got dark and late. But well happy.

Ive been here years and i still struggle but if managed a grasp

 

Changed the pushrod tubes and seals, the old ones were very weak and rusty and leaking.
