Today I made up a bracket for my solenoid valve. Very happy with it especially as everything came out of my "that'll be useful for something" pile, so I didn't spend a penny.

Taken it for the MOT, fingers crossed all goes well.

 

Looked underneath it to find out where one of our dogs is hiding from the inlaws pup.

 

Been and bought a new tyre to replace an old cracked one and then washed and packed it ready for tomorrows trip to Henley for the 80's Rewind Festival.
I can't wait as we've been having a load of building work done at home and this is only our second camping trip of the summer.
I shall be swaying drunkenly to cheesy 80's pop all weekend

Took for MOT retest with failure lighting issues sorted, acquired some new ones during the retest... wouldn't mind so much if it was cross country but it's only a mile or two away down the hill! She was fine on the drive....

Anyone swapped the fuse box out for a blade type? old fusess are getting hard to buy in shops
when you can't find the bagfull you bough at the last show

 

Changing the fuse box will be a whole world of pain. The old torpedo fuses widely available. Even Halfords sell them.

 

Not as of last night.. they were all off the shelf and in a box to be sent away.. got the last one!

It was more the relay holders which don't seen to hold I have a problem with got em wired separately and fixed on brackets at the mo, though we'd try and make it tidy!... but as you say world of pain

 

£1.35 plus P&P on the internet for 8. Only looking cause I need some white ones and the local motor factors didn't have them just a mixed package.

 

Went for a nice ride in her...winding round the mountain roads down into the valley...

for the grocery shopping!

Fuel hose vanished a while back.

 

Major electric problems?

 

Went and looked at it at SGS Aircooled.
Saw it for the first time in a month. Now has new sills and outriggers. Needs an MOT, its booked in for retest next Tuesday a couple of other issues being done before then.

Then I have to do some filling and painting.
