  1. I’ve ordered the wrong parts so many times too! JK are good at accepting returns when I’ve made that mistake before

  4. Its still getting welded..the over 30 temps in Sweden have made it hard for the welder so I said just hold off until the weather gets cooler.

  9. Picked a great summer to be without a camper!

  10. So I got started on coating the inside of the rear right outer fender. So I hopefully can get started on putting som new metal on the bus.

First I cleaned it from transport colure then treated it whit phosphoric acid. Rubbed it down with 80 grid.

Then three coats of 2K epoxy primer. [IMG]

I’m buying Paint and filler from my local auto body shop guy. So I can get good advices on doing the preparation before paint.

    Try fitting the fender.
Not a perfect fit but with some fiddling it should be ok. [IMG][IMG]
And getting some odd metal prices fitted so I can get the battery tray in place soon. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Preparing for next weekend so I can start welding some more metal in place. [IMG]

Looking good mate! Think the rear was my favourite bit to repair on ours. Not sure why.

    Nice progress

  19. Got started on welding in the battery tray and the outer fender.
It’s a bit scary to weld the fender hoping too make it whiteout too much oil can effect. On the flat surface. Cooling the spot weld with compressed air directly after the puddle solidifies. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
