  3. Parts are starting to go back on one side as im awaiting more underseal to be deliverd to finish off spraying the lh arch

    First off dont fit the lhs suspension arms to the rhs upside down :-[

    Removed and the rhs arms and spindle fitted ::)

    I need to order a few washers and spring washers etc as its seems either mine never had them fitted in the first place or they have been lost over the years

    Does anyone know if a 78 bay should have spring washers on the calliper mounting bolts or is it a thread lock job?

    By my reckoning

    Damper mounts should have m12 spring washers

    Brake disc back plate mounting bolts should have m6 spring washers

    Suspension ball joint should have m20 washer

    Could some one confirm that for me please?

  5. If i shot a deer round here dude not only would i be locked up id lose big favours with the land owners

    Does anyone have a confirmation on the washer types and sizes??????????????
     
  6. I've not got a clue about the washer sizes I'm afraid.

    As its been dark when I've been getting home so I've not been able to have a good look.

    I'll try and have a look at the weekend if your still stuck

    I couldnt work out what washers I had or didnt have as mine are covered in old crud. Did you find out the sizes in the end?

  15. I just bought a box of assorted washers in the end dude

    I greased the beam today apart from the steering pin as im going to replace the bushes

    You are supposed to grease the beam with the wheels off the ground arent you?

    I try and do one job each day no matter how small as it keeps it going along

    Im pretty burnt out in general at the moment though so its a struggle to motivate myself
    So ive given myself a dead line of march the first for the mot and the week after to have a usuable bed and rear belts
