lol me too, most of mine is sprayed on the underside and wheel arches. unfortunatly it only seems to come out of my gun when the lances are not connected (it sort of congeals in the pipe to the probes ) and that is with it thinned down and heated up and compressor at about 100psi .....so I blasted it on straight from the gun all over the underside ...yes, it did go on a bit thicker than I wanted!! and I'm sure there are still spots I've missed I used the spray cans of Bilthamer in all the nooks, crannies and cavities looking at paras pic of the engine lid reminded me of some one I know who wax oyled the same area this weeked, they pumped loads in ........then noticed the numberplate light was full of wax ....ok, that some one was me
yea, it took me ages to clean the lense ....then put it back with out gasket ...then had to take it out again as i didnt clean the wax off the bulb Not sure why it wont go through the lance .......if I kept the lance in the bucket of hot water it would work, but obviously wont reach the cavities. Once I took it out of the water to use it just clogged again after a few mins the only thing I can think, is that the extra length of the hose was giving it time to cool, perhapse the air from the compressor was also cooler even though it was a hot day perhapse I should have thinned it even more?
i use stone chip gun with empty stonechip can filled with waxoil , i take it u are all using waxoil thick and hard to get out of the can , i use COMA wax it pours out no bother sprays well and then sets owennw
I got some MIL spec stuff with the gun from rustbusters, this stuff:- http://www.rust.co.uk/0001-mil-spec-transparent-rust-proofing-wax/p487952/
You should have popped over to the 'yard paint shop and got some battleship grey to go with the rest of HMV (her majesty's van)
dont come over here, giving me stick .....you give enough on my own resto thread lol HMV indeed !! ...cant really argue with you though I'll have you know that ship grade steel, nuts, bolts, grinding disks and other sundries are good quality stuff ....shame they dont let me have anymore ......pity I didnt think about the radar absorbant stuff at the time ....not that my van would go fast enough to worry about it!!
Well it wont be staying here as the estate agent has been round to tell me I cant keep it at the house unless it has tax and mot
Sounds like the same thing we had when we lived in a flat. Carpark was offroad but vehicles had to be taxed, MOT'd and insured. No repair work to be done in the car park either.
Those rules normally apply to newer properties. What does it say in your contract @paradox? If it's not mentioned, personally I'd ignore them.
