Thats dry but not cured Enamel kicks 2 packs ass when it comes to shine and thats just one brush coat
I wish i havent even got an engine and ive got a house move coming up along with decorating etc The van will be wrapped up and put to one side untill spring Im just trying to get it all sealed up so it doesent start to rot again by spring
that is going to be so funny next year on your hols on a hot day with it oozing out at some popular tourist spot worth doing though
Its marking its spot again today Ive used just short of ten liters and ive yet to do the sills lol Oh well better too much than not enough
Shame the companies that do this as a service are not as conscientious.....have a look at Owatrol Oil...they use it for narrowboat hulls.....sprays on like thin varnish....can be used alone or in conjunction with Waxoyl....if you can get sufficient pressure, you can mist it in so it covers all the internal surfaces,....
Looking good mate I've used 5l on mine a couple of spray cans of bilt hamber and still not half way through!! ....must think about finishing it before the weather turns cold
As a welder, I find it difficult to agree with that statement. Having tested my setup down carboard tubes etc, I know for sure I could more than adequately do a whole bus with less than a ltr of the thinner stuff and about a litre of thicker stuff like you're using. I draw out my probe about 10x as slowly as my testing showed neccessary and still use less than 2 ltrs.
Ive done the whole area behind the firewall, the roof where it all joins at the gutters and honestly any place i can squeeze it in Ive even done the bracing bars on the panel opposite the sliding door I will admit ten liters may be a bit much But for a whole bus i wouldent want to use any less than 5 liters Maybe your cavity wax gun atomises better than mine? I bet yours didnt explode and cover you in wax when the nozzle got jammed in a rear arch tub
