why should that matter? it's on privately owned land surely? I can understand it if he's not happy having an open air workshop 'lowering the tone', but would he feel the same if it was a untaxed/tested Bentley on his drive.....? Perhaps there's some law about it...but he's got you over a barrel there...if you argue the toss he'll just terminate your contract....Git! Is it the Estate agent, or the Landlord, who's said this....or are they the same person....?
I was going to say how could he tell and now you don't need one get a mate to lend you an in date tax disk, but the lack of number plate and indicators may have suggested this might be a non runner to him - plus anything you might have told him. If its not in your tenancy agreement then it doesn't matter, he can't kick you out until expiry and if apart from a non MOT/Taxed bus you are a good tenant then why would a landlord want to get rid of you at the end, unless he owns all the neighbouring properties and he thinks it might impact on letting those (rent achieved and time to let). Best of luck
Doh! In that case maybe it wasn't a great plan to tow it there in the first place then.... Now you've got it there, I'd go with the "it is taxed and MOT'd" lie.
My bus is being laid up for winter and is still taxed, mot'd and insured. It is locked up behind closed doors and won't be seen for months.....shame it's not green
Mind you people are always stripping these buses down and taking all the windows out and painting them a different colour aren't they. Quite often they look a little bit abandoned if someone is halfway through that process. I doubt anyone even changes the colour on the log book until after all the works been done.
lend him your plates....and your name and address.... thinking about it, that won't really work will it...
The theory is fine, clone a legal vehicle that produces the correct responses when basics check are done. Of course it's very illegal and I would never do this.
I doubt that its against the rules for Para to have silvers bus at his house while he puts it back together for him after Silver had it painted green. It is after all taxed, insured and MOT'd
i feel for para , hes found another place after all the parp hes had , n hes not going to be able to put his bus back together their , even though hes got the space , how would most feel if they were told this or in fact read their deeds n worked to the letter on them
Would a bus cover not do as lots of people store them under to keep out of the inclement weather if the estate agent lifts the cover do him for vandalism of your car
