So while today was an eventful day, it was a total anticlimax I got the engine in, oil lines shortened, cables all hooked up, dash lights working, and the starter motor was a total fail!! Hasn't got enough grunt to turn the new motor over fast enough to get oil pressure... and I've got the spark plugs out!! Engine in, just sorting the engine wiring out Oil lines on Bit tight round the exhaust area, but nothing is touching Electrics all done apart from the split charge and leisure battery Exhaust all on So in the morning, I might try a bit of towing to get oil pressure... Will have to have a work out for turning round
Its so strange reading this thread As your putting things back together im taking my bus apart lol Did you prime the oil pump with vaseline dude?

well it'd already been painted with plasticote, so I just used some straight satin black on it.... but normally I'd use a plastic primer
No, unfortunately I've been sofa hugging for the last week... got a dose of stomach flu, so toast and gaviscon have been my main source of nutrient gonna see if I can get a few hours in tomorrow
Cheers dude So after a nasty bout of flu, I'm slowly easing myself back into the saddle 8) Engine all finished off - tinned and seal in Split charge relay in Leisure battery hooked up and working GRP tins So tomorrow I'm going to finish off the front tracking and camber, and hopefully throw the mop over it
