    Luu is Alive!!!!!

The very nice chap had a good look at her, fitted a new battery and after a couple of attempts she was purring away ;D ;D ;D
He seems to think that the engine sounds good, the battery trays are not as bad as I thought and that it wont take much to get her through her MOT. He suggested a few things that could be done, but generally he seemed very happy. Hopefully she'll be going in next week.

Even if we have to camp in the back on an airbed we will make SpringCamp ;D ;D ;D

  15. yeah!!!!

  20. For the last few days I've been test fitting and trimming down all the new furniture, I've pretty much finished it so it can be moved into the dining room for several coats of teak oil - its a good job the missus is so understanding. ;) ;)

Today Chris the mechanic arrived to take Luu to his workshop and sort her out in preparation for her MOT, after a slight hiccup (no petrol ::)) she was on her way, tomorrow he's going to e-mail me with the full list of things that need doing.

In the meantime I'm going to take advantage of the empty garage and finish painting the floor

Her first outing in 18 months, I was grinning like a cheshire cat ;D
