Someone on jk buried a container and saved all their rainwater ,i think they connected the toilet and used the water for the garden ,a high initial investment but maybe in years it will pay for itself... I have assorted water containers round the garden and it saves a bomb on watering in summer..[the farmer nicks all the well water]

    Our new house has tanks to collect all the grey water (shower, bath, kitchen sink) so as we can use it on the garden plus a rainwater tank which harvests the water from the house & shed roofs. In times of drought they'll be an absolute godsend out here, but at least we are connected to town water.

    Tuesday wildchild I'm a circle!

    I have 1000ltr tank(so far) for rain water and a 3000ltr tank for grey water known as a septic tank :D This when complete will have a sand filter bed which then will allow the fluid to just go back into the ground( my orchard).
