I have met a few guys from JK & they are really friendly, I get the impression from them that they want to help & want to sell good quality items. Some of the stuff can be iffy but I'm sure in time those will be sorted. In the mean time I'll still use them. I've had loads of good stuff & refunds are never a problem.


Josh you really need to make a retro awning in beige & brown to suit my van with the rubber attachment like the one on the Westfalia punch & Judy awning. I know where to get that rubber from, if you want to know pm me.

If you do make one I'll buy it off you but I'm looking for a certain style, along similar lines to the punch & Judy one.

 

I've never had any problems with customer service from JK .....always easy to deal with and no problems with returning any thing in the past.

it seems like the quality of the parts is the main problem ......but its the same stuff as every where else sells anyway

good to hear your working on getting things sorted, it needs big companies to push for quality over cheap rubbish.


I, like many on here, would happily pay slightly more for some thing that is fit for purporse, rather than paying peanuts for something that is only fit for the bin

i've had no issues in the past with your customer service mate, had 1 item that i wasnt satisfied with and it was returned no probs. all my other orders have been spot on, and i'm sure this one will be too! what time you open till?

 

Does anybody else reckon that the thread title is a bit unfair on Josh? I know it started off as a moan but it has moved on to JK trying to sort stuff out

It seems that some of these panels that JK are getting made for them are of very good quality from what I have heard but these are the made in UK ones .. It would be good if they could market this particulare range in a way like VWH do with their stuff from Autocraft?? Then we would know which panels are best and be willing to pay the premium rather than not know for sure and move on....? A marketing branding issue I think?

Some form of loyalty discount would be good and if I order the very nice crossover wheel arch on Thursday can I also have a discount? Then again I may have a credit note on file never used who knows..?! Bit like Tesco Clubcard not long ago

Had been trying for ages on earlybay to research which wheel arch was best.. considered the earlybay VW one and get the step separate but wasn't sure about the step quality until recently. Had no idea about quality of your wheel arch until the website feedback started working and emailed to ask. Had a fast and full response so happy bunny as I said. All I need now is for you not to sell out before payday as happened some moths ago and very next day they sold put and doubled in price!!! Cannot reserve either which shame but have to have funds grabbed beforehand so I didn't do this as businesses take the ******* with this taking of funds for days on end until the items actually arrive, if ever.

Good anyhow that JK as a business are working to improve on issues .. Wouldn't want them to turn out like Gelert...... financial difficulty etc etc. Were beginning to look like them!! Market Research time on Google docs or similar would make for much interest instead of word association . May also be useful to JK?

 

Ps.. the older chappy in garage I use, and have used for years, refuses to fit the rubber petrol hoses unless they are threaded ones........ Cannot recall reason but was a logical reason why VW used them?
