I just left a review for a petrol cap. I dared them to publish it, at it was (ahem) not a good review.
The only reason we'd be tempted not to post it is because you spent as much time telling us we wouldn't post it as you did giving information about the product Could you confirm that this is the petrol cap you had from us? http://www.justkampers.com/211-201-...-stainless-steel-for-vw-t2-bay-1973-1979.html I know that a couple of the locking petrol caps we've had in were pretty bad (I know this because I had one on the JK Bay and used to dread having to fill it up!) but I believe they've been replaced by better ones now, which don't require you to be a master locksmith in order to figure out If you could let me know when you brought the cap etc I'll get working on it for you I'm off in a while for some dental surgery (which should be a lot of fun), so I'll try and get this one sorted out before I go Thanks Josh
It only arrived yesterday, and the problem is that the lock does not actually lock the cap to the filler - you can lock it then just remove it by hand.

Hmm, I think I get what you mean, and it certainly doesn't sound right! I'll see if we can grab a few out of stock and take a look at them. They're good quality German ones, so you may just have a faulty one, but we'll take a look and get back to you when we've got some more info Josh

Josh There does seem to be an issue with quality - I wonder if you could get items from suppliers to try out and give them to the end user to try and review before selling them.
Just for the record I bought one of those caps about a year ago...no problems, did what it said on the box.
^WHS - i got one of those filler caps last year too and mine locks absolutely fine. It's very tight to put on, but locks ok and looks good.
I called today to buy a T4 engine flywheel oil seal and o-ring. I was told they didn't list the o-ring. I said that's a bit wierd! They said they'd had a meeting about it today as someone had asked yesterday. Oh good - what was the outcome? Someone said there is no such thing. Someone else said there was a gasket. I said I'd try elsewhere and ordered both from VWH. lol
