    I'm liking it a lot. It is really nice to have more power than I need and be able to drive without the worry that I had developed over recent times. Sounds lovely too :)

    What's the fuel consumption like in comparison to the type 4, much difference?
     
  8. How much history are they able to give you on the Scooby engine and remind me what one you went for.

    I went EJ20 - couldn't see the point of anything more powerful. I didn't get any history - they but from a few dealers who just supply engine and loom, or buy whole vehicles themselves to strip.

    I need to decide which way to go yet :) I am quite a way off sorting the motor, let us know how you get on as n when!

  13. Just got it back yesterday. At 3000 rpm I used to do about 50mph and now do 60mph so not a great deal of difference but still worth it imo.I had the 3 and 4th gears extended and the differential was modified too.
